4 - Practitioner

What type of practitioner are you?

Frankly, i like to practitionate a lot of things. But if we have to really delve into the subject...
Photographer. Or aspiring photographer. I could go into this, but i've done it too many times, so i'll let you know how it goes.

What type do you aspire to be?

Oooh, photojournalism has always been a big interest, or musical photography. Even fashion and scientific.
How about i just keep it at freelance photography :)

What themes are you into?
Everything.

2 - Likes and Mood

I like photography. I also like literature.
I like to take my time with things. I feel that rushing through life is a waste of time. Try to enjoy the little things. Like how light reflects off buildings. The shadows on pavements. A cool breeze on a hot day. Shit like that.

Mm. More than often i feel i have the ability to write only when i'm in the mood. Right now is not one of those times.

But i'll say one thing. Bedroom shots are very interesting. They're a great insight to what a person is like. Their interests. Their minds.
I say this only because i was looking through someone's flickr. I go on often.


Because no one actually came up to me to tell me about themselves, i don't have anything to write about anymore.

1 - Webcomics and Welcomes

Hey Everyone!

Hope you're all having a great class, i sure am:)

So, our first blog requires us to produce a few of our favourite sites. And so, here are a few of mine!

xkcd : love love love this for its hilarity, its science geekiness (i'm asian, give me some credit here) and its wit. Also for its random quirks. I'm a big fan of webcomics.

The Escapist: This is the most fantastic site i've ever had the pleasure of knowing. It has profiles, reviews, videos, etc. My favourite vids on this are ZeroExclamation, who reviews video games. Another is Doomsday Arcade. Check them out for copious amounts of fuckwittage... and funniness.

Finally, (last but definitely not least), a very beautiful site called A Softer World. I love this webcomic because 1) Joey Comeau is a genius. I have both his books. 2) The images are delightful. 3) This kind of art doesn't need to make sense to be awesome.
